So interesting, we have to make sure that everytime we visit our family in the area that we take time to visit.
Extraordinary time exploring the historic library and archive - what an adventure in history. We were regaled with numerous stories by the Librarian and Keeper of Books, and enjoyed opportunities to handle some of the oldest materials in the collection. Here you can turn the pages of the King James pulpit bible from the year it was sent to all the churches in Scotland. Here you can view the earliest cottage garden advice books. Here your library-loving heart will find a resting place.Hours and days are limited so check carefully - you won't want to miss this!
