brilliant American-style diner. I absolutely love the rustic decor, and the food is amazing! couldn't recommend enough for lovers of great food!
Everything was overrated: burgers were average, fries were dry, the salsa and guacamole sauces tasted like old supermarket discounts, the veg burger was a terrible semi-prepared mix of pesto and peas, the "fresh lemonade and orange" felt like canned fermented juice. Apart from some photos with NY on the walls, there's nothing that recreates that atmosphere - the interior design was basic with random radio music. The 2 stars are mostly for the friendly staff.
Not sure how these rave reviews came about, but the place has actually very little to do with New York atmosphere. The food was average at best although we did not have the steaks. Fresh orange juice was actually canned cheap concentrate. I am sure there are better places around.
Just had the T-bone steak. Was cooked to perfection. My wife had the Mexican burger and said it was brilliant. Service was excellent. Definitely recommended and reasonably priced.
The food here is unbelievable. Dont think Ive tasted ribs as good as theirs anywhere! Melt in the mouth is an understatement! Portion sizes are generous and the staff are really friendly, attentive and accommodating.
