Food is amazing. Especially Cullen Skink soup and Venison. One of the best lunches we ever had.
Susy is so welcoming and efficient. Warm cosy place and so clean. Food delicious. Brie and cranberry ciabatta was excellent. Great for veggies and they have a Tuesday steak day for the other people.
Rooms (I had two over a 3 night stay) were of a very high standard and exceptionally clean and well serviced. Staff and proprietoess were warm friendly and extremely helpful. Only two issues and over 188 metres the door height was lower than me and it hurts when you keep forgetting that. Secondly and they are open on the web about this the No serving at table breakfast before 0930 is not just quirky it is an absolute on convenience whether you are on leisure or have appointments in a busy day, fitting in with this requirement means your whole morning is going to be handicapped by this regulation. That said and understanding the breakfast restriction I would love to go back and enjoy another stay.
A great family run pub and restaurant with rooms. We got a fine welcoming hotel experience, fine bedroom, comfy bar, delightful well appointed restaurant, and splendid food. We will certainly return.
Spacious, modern and spotlessly clean apartments. Have stayed twice now for work and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Lovely welcoming staff. Nice local feel. Few parking spaces outside but plenty available for free in the surrounding streets. Good base for the surrounding area.
